Not only can buying a new item be expensive, but it will also increase your need for storage space.
Rather than buying something you'll only use once or twice, renting it saves you money, saves room in your home, and allows you the freedom from expensive upkeep and other maintenance costs.
Every rental request must be reviewed by the lister, prior to acceptance.
If other requests have been submitted for the same item prior to yours, it is possible your request will not be accepted.
If your request is not accepted for any reason, you will be notified with a message stating the reason for rejection.
Often times, listers will have an alternative item available, so feel free to communicate with the lister directly for an alternative.

Remember that you rental cost will increase with additional time added to your rental period.
Images of all rental items are required at the beginning and end of the rental process.
Once returned, the lister of the item will have the opportunity to inspect the item and verify it is in the same condition as when it was rented out.
If any damages are found, the lister may add an additional damage fee to the transaction.
If a rental is returned later than originally agreed upon, the lister of the item has the ability to attach a late fee to the rental.

When you are ready to pick-up your rental item, or are having it dropped off, there are a few steps that must be completed to start your rental.
The renter must take three photos of each item being rented prior to starting the rental.

In addition to earning you money, versus sitting idle, listing your items on RNTR is a fantastic way to help the environment. Rather than companies increasing carbon emissions from high levels of production, renting unused items ensures that people buy less, and utilize what they have more.
In addition, the items rented out have a much higher likelihood of being used many times versus used once or twice, and stored. This allows for items produced to be utilized for what they are intended, and allows renters to save money (versus buying new) and need less space for storing less frequently used items - which helps us to minimize our environmental impact with larger homes and storage spaces.
